At a home for retired musicians, the annual concert to celebrate Verdi's birthday is disrupted by the arrival of Jean, an eternal diva and the former wife of one of the residents. Bar open from 7.15pm. Also ices on sale at interval. Booking advisable - £4 in advance, £4.50 on the door.

Arts and Gardens Weekend

Local gardens open (11am to 4pm) for viewing and art exhibition in the church.The Pennoyer Centre will be open all day serving light lunches, homemade cakes and refreshments.
